Hi, I’m Shereen, co-founder of Ignite AI. With over 12 years of experience in AI and machine learning and a career as a senior AI academic, I created Ignite AI to help organisations adopt AI with clarity, confidence, and responsibility. Alongside my academic and consultancy work, I act as an expert member of the British Standards Institution, contributing to BSI and ISO standards in areas related to the adoption of AI technologies in medical imaging, medical devices, software systems, risk management, and post-market surveillance.
My work spans applied AI research, industry-funded projects, and long-term collaborations across healthcare and business. Through this work, I’ve seen how teams often face the same barriers: manual processes, uncertainty about where AI can add value, and limited confidence in using AI tools effectively.
Ignite AI was built to address these challenges. I support organisations in identifying high-value AI opportunities, developing evidence-based strategies, and building the skills their teams need to use AI safely and productively.
